Did you know Aire Valley Surgery is now a certified Parkrun Practice?
We are proud to advertise that our practice has now partnered with Bramley Parkrun, with an aim to promote the mental and physical wellbeing of our patient and staff community by moving our bodies out in the fresh air of our lovely local community.
What is Parkrun?
A free, weekly community event where you can opt to walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate our group tackle 5K!

When is it?
Saturday at 9:00am.
Where is it?
The event takes place at Bramley Park, Moorfields, Leeds, LS13 3JZ.

What does it cost to join?
Nothing! However, we do ask that you register on the official website before you come, you only need to register once. Remember to bring a scannable copy of your barcode to join in and receive your time.

How fast do I have to be?
It doesn’t matter, the aim is to have fun and get involved! Please come along and take your own pace. Rest assured there will be a Parkrun facilitator at the very end to ensure no one comes in last place!
Can I bring non-‘Aire Valley patients’?
Of course! The more the merrier!
What are the potential benefits?

What are the potential drawbacks?
There are minimal! If you have a particular injury or feel limited in your mobility one of our lovely Parkrun facilitators will be on hand for any assistance to help you get a few steps in or simply spectate the others.
