Worldwide IT outage

We are being alerted to breaking news about national IT problems caused by a Microsoft update.

Luckily, this isn’t affecting us at Aire Valley Surgery “yet”, though is effecting services like the computer system where blood tests are stored, etc and may spread more widely as the day goes on

We will continue to post updates as and when we can.

“If” the practice encounters any difficulties this may effect our website, phones (which are linked to the computers) and access to some elements of clinical system may be effected such as letters, test results, etc.

“If” this happens, patients should call 111 for medical advice, 999 for a medical emergency, or come to the surgery and await further information.

We will keep you posted as best we can, as often as we can.
