Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Please do not book a GP appointment or attend your GP practice if you have symptoms associated with Coronavirus, including a new continuous cough or high temperature. If you are concerned you have symptoms that require assessment then please use the NHS 111 Coronavirus Online Service https://111.nhs.uk/covid-19/  If you do not have online access, then please use the NHS 111 telephone service. In order to protect patients and staff please DO NOT come to the practice unless you have been invited to do so by one of our clinical team. All GP appointments are currently via telephone or video in the first instance and your need will be triaged. All prescriptions will be sent electronically to designated pharmacies. All appointments are currently bookable by phone, or by using our online reception. Appointment booking through SystmOne online is currently not available. If you need to cancel your appointment you can do so online via our website without the need to login, or by phone.

COVID Testing for Patients

Everyone in England Scotland Ireland and Wales over the age of 5 who is showing coronavirus symptoms is eligible to book a swab test

  • Everyone in England, Scotland, Wales* and Northern Ireland who is showing coronavirus symptoms is eligible to book a swab test to find out if they have the virus.  People can ask for a test, after checking their symptoms.  Those in England and Wales who do not have any access to the internet, or who have difficulty with the digital portals, will be able to ring a new 119 service to book their test.
  • Essential Workers and members of their household who have symptoms should continue to register for a test through the Self-Referral and Employer Portals on gov.uk
